Film Museum continues on February 7 at 5.30 pm at the Hungarian Institute (Piiskopi 2). This time you will be seeing "The Witness" by Péter Bacsó. After a film a discussion with Edina Csüllög.

The satire goes back to the years of the Hungarian personality cult. Being on duty, the dam-keeper, Pelikán József, finds a fish poacher who turns out to be his old comrade, Dániel Zoltán, now a minister. And so it starts - an ominous black car takes Pelikán from prison to the directors´ offices of an orange plantation where he receives his assignment - to be the key witness against his friend Dániel, and prove his guiltiness in a made-up charge.
